The store with the failing checkout

The problem: ads were running and traffic was coming, but card payments failed at checkout — customers gave up and nobody knew why. Every day it stayed broken was paid traffic wasted.

What we did: ran controlled test orders, traced the failure to a payment gateway misconfiguration compounded by a plugin conflict, fixed both with a backup in hand, and set up order monitoring so a silent failure can't happen again.

The problem: the site was injecting spam links, Google showed a hacked-site warning under the company name, and there was no backup anywhere. Customers were seeing it.

What we did: cleaned the infected files, identified the entry point — an abandoned plugin — and removed it, hardened logins and permissions, set up scheduled off-site backups, and submitted the Google review request after verifying the site clean.

The website nobody waited for

The problem: the homepage took long enough to load on mobile that visitors left before seeing anything. Oversized images, no caching at all, and an overloaded shared server underneath.

What we did: measured a baseline first, then compressed and resized the media library, configured page and browser caching properly, removed two redundant plugins, and tuned the hosting settings — re-measuring after each step.

The website whose developer disappeared

The problem: the freelancer who built and hosted the site stopped answering. The business had no access to its own website, the domain was close to expiring, and business emails were bouncing.

What we did: recovered access through the domain and hosting providers, migrated the full site to hosting registered in the client's own name, fixed the email records (SPF/DKIM), and took over monthly management with documented access.
